So I’ve taken up yet another creative activity: quilling. It was my 9-year-old who first introduced me to it, because she wanted a quilling book for Christmas, and I had no idea what she was talking about. Now I’m hooked, and spent time last night working on birthday cards after having made snowflake ornaments for my family on Christmas Eve!

My assistants (best daughters ever!) planned my birthday party this year. Since the girls and I watch superhero cartoons and play superhero games, they decided it should be superhero-themed!

They’re my favorite party planners! :)
